As the name suggests, the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible, also known as the GranCabrio, is a GT car. In other words, it’s a comfortable, stylish cruiser that can also do sports car things if the driver spots a few cute corners. However, some riders were a little more proactive in spotting corners but didn’t want to lose the open-air experience. When Maserati updated the GranTurismo line for 2013, it also introduced the GranTurismo MC Convertible.
Like all 2013 Maserati GranTurismo models, the MC Cabriolet features a 454 hp Ferrari-built V8, a ZF automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. However, the transmission of the MC is programmed specifically for the model. While this V8 sounds brilliant in the standard car, the MC has a sport exhaust that really brings the music. And those are just the powertrain changes.
Externally, the 2013 Maserati GranTurismo MC Convertible has a taller carbon fiber rear spoiler for additional downforce. Also, it’s made of carbon fiber. The front splitter and rear diffuser also reduce lift. Also, the front fairing of the MC Convertible includes aero wings and brake cooling ducts. In addition, the drop-top rides on MC-specific 20-inch wheels, as well as stiffer springs and adaptive shock absorbers. And alongside redesigned sports seats, the interior features a flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminum pedals and carbon-fiber shift paddles.
One downside to the 2013 Maserati GranTurismo MC Convertible’s fabric top is how it eats into the trunk when it’s down. However, its three-layer construction ensures that the interior is really quiet when raised. And neither you nor your three passengers – yes, it’s a four-seater – won’t mind the trunk with that V8 soundtrack. And although the suspension upgrades improve handling, the MC Convertible GT things do just fine.

So it also has leather upholstery, navigation, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and a Bose audio system.
While not a one-stop car, this 2013 Maserati GranTurismo MC Cabriolet has a clean, accident-free history, exclusively in warm climate areas. He also has almost 31,500 miles on the clock. And apart from a few isolated scuffs and scratches and a bit of touch up paint it’s in great condition. It’s not exactly stock though, having tinted windows, tinted headlights and taillights, Novitec springs and ADV.1 wheels. However, the factory wheels are included in the sale.
Also, this car has some maintenance records. In addition, the seller has done a lot of work during his ownership. For example, in September 2021 they replaced the battery and tested the alternator. And in August 2021 they changed the engine oil, engine air filter, auxiliary drive belt, water pump, front brake rotors, right rear shock absorber, lower shock bushings, seat motor and all brake pads. They also flushed the power steering fluid, brake fluid, and coolant at the same time.
