The best deals on sedans, sports and lifestyle cars for the EOFY 2022

TThe ongoing impact of widespread supply chain issues has hurt traditional automotive fiscal year-end (EOFY) sales, but there are still some deals ahead for 2022.

Typically, new car buyers can expect to purchase a vehicle before June 30 as vehicle manufacturers aim to clear as much inventory as possible before the new fiscal year begins.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to widespread supply problems due to production and shipping restrictions, largely caused by a shortage of semiconductor chips, which has prompted many brands to raise vehicle prices — and junk deals.

The good news is that you can still find bargains if you’re looking to bargain on a brand new sedan, sports or lifestyle vehicle in Australia Audi, kia, peugeot and Skoda – although none are specifically referred to as “EOFY” savings.

A speaker for Mazda Australia said the company has offers for EOFY; Mazda 6, MX-5 and MX-30 buyers will need to check with their local dealership, however, as the brand does not currently offer fixed national drive-away deals.

Volkswagen Drive-away pricing is currently available for the entire Arteon line, but these prices range from $7500 to $9800 above the suggested retail price.

The news is less favorable for shoppers looking to shop at Alfa Romeo, BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota and Volvo.
